Welcome to complimentary therapies – Homeopathy

This week I’ve been busy networking with some wonderful therapists, coaches and services which all support women to feel better and achieve their health, lifestyle and personal needs.

So I have been interviewing some of them so that you can find out a little more about a range of complimentary therapies and also hear about their work!

Homeopathy – Tracey Campbell

How did you get into your industry? I first discovered homeopathy over 20 years ago through Arnica and was amazed at it’s healing capacity which led me to explore other homeopathic remedies that I could prescribe myself in first aid situations and for acute ailments. I then went through a short bout of depression and my GP wanted to prescribe me with anti-depressants “just for a few weeks”. I was adamant that I didn’t want to go down that route so I decided to see a homeopath. This was the best decision of my life. I was amazed at how quickly I started to feel better. I had more energy, I was able to reduce using my Ventolin inhaler, recurring ear infections disappeared, but most importantly it changed my life because I decided to study homeopathy which took me four years. That was over 16 years ago and I haven’t looked back.

What’s your favourite thing about your job? I absolutely love helping people and with homeopathy I am able to do this. For example, the little girl who no longer experiences tummy aches, the lady who has been able to come off her anti-depressants, helping a child with sleep problems or helping people with chronic conditions that they have been living with for a long time, e.g. UTI infections helping people to reduce medication, i.e. anti-biotics because they are much better. As well as helping with physical symptoms homeopathy also helps on the emotional side too so people always report an overall feeling of well-being.

What would be your top tip for someone looking for a homeopath?I would always recommend talking to a homeopath first over the phone. I think this is really important because it means as a potential patient, you get the opportunity to talk to the homeopath and can decide if you feel comfortable with them and then whether you would like to work with them. I offer a free no obligation 15 minute consultation and believe this is so very important.

What’s your top tip for those wanting to improve their well-being?I believe good health comes from the inside so a healthy diet is very important plus plenty of sleep. If we feel good on the inside both physically and emotionally we will feel the numerous benefits. Homeopathy helps to rebalance people’s health on all levels by treating the cause and not the problem.
